Melinda Jones – MJ – is a Ben Lomond-based artist whose work is deeply rooted in a love for the outdoors. Her paintings are inspired by the vibrant landscapes of the Santa Cruz Mountains, the wild beauty of rivers and beaches, and her global travels – especially mountain biking adventures and colorful journeys through Mexico
When she is not painting, you'll find MJ hiking with her dog, riding mountain trails, gardening, or soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds her. For MJ, nature isn't just a backdrop – it's the heart of her creative process.
She's passionate about where she lives, and her art reflects the energy, freedom, and connection that come from being immersed in the world around her. Travel is a welcome bonus, but Ben Lomond will always be home.
